Malaysia: Batu Caves, Kuala Lumpur

Batu Caves are Hindu temple located bit outside Kuala Lumpur and even it is bit of a distance I think it is worth a visit even you are in Kuala Lumpur only for a day or two. The cave with the temples inside of it is a very impressive sight and interesting to explore. Just be aware of the monkeys and if possible don’t take food or plastic bags with you. I got attacked by a big male monkey and started screaming which interrupted a Hindu service going on. Others had fun and I was embarrassed but I guess the people over there are use to these incidents.
Outside the caves there is a little café where they make delicious rotis and coconut juice straight from the coconut for couple of ringgits. Good place to check to passing temple visitors and chill after monkey attacks.
