Leonard's Fudge: Leonard's Fudge

Swanage in Dorset, as you’d expect from a popular seaside town with one the best sandy beaches in the area, is not short on facilities catering to tourist. There’s a wide choice of ice cream parlours, amusement arcades, pubs and restaurants in the small town centre and along the sea front.

Look out for the fudge however which is considered a speciality of the South West of England. There are several dedicated fudge shops in town but we tried the varieties on offer at Leonard’s (in the corner of the gift shop) because of the large choice and the fact that they offer an assorted bag in which you can sample many different flavours without breaking the bank.

Some of the temptations offered were Baileys fudge, chocolate orange, pistachio and half clotted cream half chocolate!
