Cañon del Sil (River Sil Canyon): Spectacular sunset views over the River Sil Canyon

On the moountain road from Ourense to Couto we found this spectacular viewpoint over the Sil River. As it is quite high we could enjoy beautiful views over the hills and the river. We stopped there on the way to Peña Trevinca but also on the way back as the sunset light made it even more striking and a perfect spot for great shots. This viewpoint is quite large and there are a few benches to seat down to rest or admire the view but was not very clean. As this is just a stopover on the road and had plenty of parking there were not restaurants or bars around. Just a place to enjoy the view but what views.
