River Toxa Waterfall: The Highest Waterfall in Galicia: Fervenza do Toxa

There is long and pleasant walk down the hill from the road to get to this impressive and secluded waterfall. The friends I went with had visited the Waterfall in a prior occasion and said it changed in intensity depending in the weather but when we visited it was really striking. There are some benches and tables for those who wish to come here for a picnic, although with its strength the water reaches the base and splashed everywhere and the tables were constantly wet. It is also only recommended to come here during drier periods as the walk up or down can get really muddy and slippery. From the waterfalls there were many other options with walking paths all of it in the heart of a wild area.
