Kladruby is a small town in the Czech republic famous for its marvelous monastery. Actually it is very important to know, that the monastery is opened only between March and October, in the other times of the year it is closed and if you go there you feel quite bad because the place is really not very easy to reach. That happened to me once and I managed to visit the monastery only at my second visit. The main monastery church is very impressive Gothic church with many Baroque elements. The town itself is really small, but I liked it, because this is the only town under 5000 inhabitants that I have seen in the Czech republic and I hold the opinion that to get to really know a country you have to see many big cities, but also some of the really small ones.
