The month of January is the month of the baby Jesus, locally dubbed as Sto. Nino. You may not be aware of this but not only is Cebu City celebrating the feast of Sto. Nino but the entire Philippines as well. So you will see processions, Sto. Nino parades, and street dances anywhere you go. In Las Pinas City, the most popular Sto. Nino lies in BF Resort Village. Called Sto. Nino de Providencia, this statue is said to have miraculous powers such as healing the sick and granting prayers. I am always skeptic about these matters, but I don’t really disregard the fact that miracles happen. For me, it’s the faith of people that works for them and that faith is just being represented by statues like the Sto. Nino. Give Sto. Nino de Providencia a try when you’re around the area. After all, there’s really no harm in trying, right?

The place is open from Monday to Sunday, 8am to 12pm and 1pm to 5pm. It doesn't give away its contact number for private reasons.
