Metropolitan Museum: Metropolitan Museum in the Philippines

I’ll be straight to the point. You know what I like about the Metropolitan Museum? It’s gold collection. 36 cases filled with unimaginably beautiful and really expensive jewelry strewn out all over the gallery—all of which look tempting to touch and try on. That was how I felt while viewing those sparkling things at the Metropolitan Museum.

Seriously though, this museum is a repository of information and a gold mine of art history (excuse the pun.) Aside from the gold collection, the Metropolitan Museum also features other interesting stuff such as the pre-colonial pottery, gold, religious artifacts, pre-colonial gold, artworks by different artists, and gold-encrusted ornaments. Did I mention the gold collection? Oh yes! I love gold that’s why I keep coming back to the Metropolitan Museum.

If you plan to go there, entrance fee is 80Php. It's open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm.
