Pasilyo Victorio C. Edades: A Gallery of Avant Garde Art

Philippine Art History lesson 101: Victorio Edades is a National Artist that is better known as the father of modern art in our country. His works received critical acclaims all over the globe. And now, a pasilyo or a facility is named after him in which you can see one of the longest walls in the whole area, measuring 4.8 m x 19.8 m. The Pasilyo Victorio C. Edades is a gallery with a white wall, and features a bracket-shaped room which truly looks avant garde (the essence of modernity in its aesthetic elements alone.) But wait until you see the works that are displayed here; because you haven’t seen anything yet until then.
