Pâtisserie de la Tour Eiffel: Excellent pastries, great terrace, quintessential view

Paris is home to a lot of bakeries and pastry shops, and many of these are simply mediocre, especially around the tourist attractions. Many tourists don't know the difference between a great bakery and a not-great one, and, unfortunately, as long as the not-great ones are still getting business, they're going to hang around.

Fortunately, there are still a lot of great pâtisseries, and this is one of them. Not only do they have pastries and sandwiches of all shapes and sizes and excellent baguettes (something that is surprisingly hard to find sometimes), but they also offer a terrace. For a little bit extra (this is common in Paris), you can sit with your choices outside and look at the people walk by in front of the Eiffel Tower.
