Taronga Zoo: Money-saving tips

The quickest way to get from the city to Taronga Zoo is by ferry. We caught a ferry from Circular Quay and paid $43 per adult. Considering that just the entrance fee is $39, I think we got a very good deal.

Another way to save on the entrance fee is to book online and save 10%. If you are planning to visit the zoo more than a couple of times, it is a good idea to look into a yearly pass. Then you won’t have the pressure to try to see everything on the same day and you can spend as little or as much time as you want on each visit.
