The Donut Baker: Homer would be dismayed

Soon as I heard there was a new donut shop in town, I made a dash for it. The Donut Baker is an international brand which came to India last year. There was a small branch outlet nearby which wasn’t as impressive as I thought it would be. The variety of donuts wasn’t as great as I thought it would be and they all looked small and shrunken, like they had some hormonal problem leading to weak, stunted growth.
Anyway, I got a few donuts – blueberry jam-filled, chocolate-filled, Bavarian cream-filled, chocolate maple glazed, strawberry peanut donut, and a dobit, which was a ball made form the centre of the holed donut, covered with chocolate and peanuts.
Unfortunately, they even tasted less than they should have. I was disappointed and had to get a croissant from Daily Bread to drown my woes.
