Townhouse Plaza in Springwood, NSW, Australia has bigger shops, so there are less to choose from. Two of them being Reality and one a tax office slims it down more.
Popular choice here is the Pink Papaya. It is a juice and smoothie bar that also serves coffees and tea. It is very colourful and the 20 something crowd are always flocked here talking over the latest in whatever it is that they talk about (I’m getting older).
This is also the place for some fast food. The Kebab House has great choices in lamb, beef or chicken with some great prices. Dominos pizza, if you come and get the pizza yourself they have large ones for only $5.95. Subway is the newest addition. It has only been here for a couple of months. Business is good and the place is always hopping with lunch goers. (Next to the Plaza is Simon’s Park, most people take their fast food to sit in the park to enjoy it.)
Nauthe’s Jewellers is the largest shop. They custom make pieces and have others imported from all around the world. There are some unique Aussie charms for your neck here too.
Xclusive hair is another beauty salon. This is my favourite and one of the hardest to get appointments or walk into. They are very good and the young staff is very good at what they do.
Also included along this line of the plaza is the Discount Zone. This is my every day I have money shop. This has the cheapest, largest and greatest art supplies in the area. If you want art supplies you have to go to Katoomba, Kingswood or Penrith and have some large deposits of cash on hand. Here I can get cloth canvas from $6.95 to $26.00, 170ml tubes of oil paint for only $5.95 and so much more. (If you know supply prices that is cheap). This is the only place I have found clip drawing boards and briefcase type portfolios. There are also cards, stationary, picture frames, household items, craft items, electrical needs and knick knacks. The staff is great and always helpful.
