Goethe Institut : Apfelstrudel for the soul

I have a fetish for German bakeries and in Bangalore what better place could there be than the café at the Goethe-Institut (Max Mueller Bhavan).
I went there to check out a film festival and lo and behold, ended up at the cozy café on the top floor.
The building itself is artistic, pristine and minimalist and completely up my alley, and they always seem have interesting activities on the slate. Then, there’s the bakery on top where I had a most comforting apple strudel, and if I sound like I’m schmoozing the Deutsch, it’s only because they do everything so damn well.
