It's truly a world-class hotel. I think it's one of best places to stay in Novgorod, not only because of comfort, but also its conveniently located position in the historic town. Novgorod is a must if in Russia. It's not only a UNESCO World Heritage Site, but its cultural significance is resonant all through the country. The hotel itself is beautiful and offers all the amenities a 4-star hotel would provide -- laundry service, airport pickup, multi-cuisine restaurants, gift shop, etc. There's a stunning display of hand-painted matryoshka dolls in the gift gallery in the lobby, so stock up on gifts.
