Narodni trg (People's square): People's square

Pjaca (also known as Narodni trg or People’s square) was first mentioned in 13the century. If you go through the Iron Gate you will come to Narodni trg or Pjaca that used to be the main square in the Old town.

If you look above the Iron gate there is a clock that dates back to Renaissance period that was built on the remains of a Roman tower.
This square is also home to Ethnographic museum – the museum is located in what once used to be a Town Hall.
This is another favorite place for meet-ups. Actually up until 1960s it was sort of designated where the students could, where pupils can walk and where bachelors could walk on Pjaca.
