Chico: More than just a college town

Chico is one of the most beautiful secrets in California. Known for being the city hosting California State University, Chico, this city also boasts a huge selection of trees, fine eateries, and a nightlife I can still tell stories about years later. In fact, Chico may be my favorite place in the United States. With its location in Northern California, it is still close enough to where from the bay area it makes a nice weekend trip - it takes me 2 1/2 hours to drive up there.
