Pender Lea Chalets: Surrounding area

Pender Lea Chalets are half way between Jindabyne and Thredbo. The Skitube to Perisher Blue is 5 min away by car. This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday, but there is not much happening in the immediate proximity to the chalets. Just around the corner, there are horse riding tracks. A little bit further down the road is the Crackenback Farm and Cottage, known for its restaurant and its maze. We wanted to have dinner at the restaurant, but it was only open Friday to Sunday and we were leaving before the weekend. The maze was also closed, but I only realised that after I put my $2 coin in, so I went in under the railings anyway. I got lost and I had to ask for help to find my way out.
