One of historical sites that you can find while touring Trois-Rivieres is the ancient Anglican Church, Saint James. Built back in 1600ish, the church was built for monastery before later on became a chapel and then a church. According to history, this church was never served its purpose as a church or religious place, actually, but was converted into a hospital and a store for medical supplies. The look of the church from the outside wasn’t that attractive, I have to say, but it was mainly because when I went there, spring was just starting, so even the grasses weren’t lovely yet, and plus the day was too cloudy and windy. From this church you can see the Ursulines museum.
