Marokkanisches Haus: The Moroccan Tea House

The Moroccan House is quite similar to the Moorish Kiosk in that it is one of the many small out buildings that surround palace of Linderhof, which was the only palace of Ludwig II’s that he completed. The building itself is tiny, and just a two minute walk from the Venus Grotto, so well worth your two minute walk over and one minute that it will take to peek inside and have a photo or two. The house was even built in Morroco, though it was brought to the International Exhibition in Vienna in 1873, then finally bought by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in 1878 to go along with his other many side buildings. It may not be the highlight of your day, but I wouldn’t skip it if you’re at Linderhof already.
