Lanaudiere is a region in Quebec Province and perhaps the best time to pass by Lanaudiere is right now, when it is spring (well minus the heavy rain and gloomy weather obviously); the birds are returning, the groundhogs are coming out, the deer are on sight, and Canadian geese are thousands to spot. On the way to Quebec City, we took a quick tour here and there around Lanaudiere region, not because we were lost though *wink* We passed by cities such as Terrebone, Joliette (Joliette was quite famous awhile ago as the city where Karla Homolka (a then very well known criminal) sentenced for some years), Charlemagne, Berthierville, L'Assomption, and I think we also went to L'Épiphanie. As I studied about Lanaudiere at school, I thought it would be cool just to check quickly the places mentioned in class. I mentioned earlier how it is the best time to drive through Lanaudiere in spring is because yesterday I spotted lands were flooded by white and dark geese, it was such a marvelous view indeed; however, the region itself is a beautiful region either in summer or winter time with tons of nature activities to enjoy.
