9. This is a rather new restaurant in the city; offering yummy Western and Indonesian dishes; however, I totally suggest you to try the local (Indonesian) ones. Located on Jl. Jendral Sudirman No. 26, you can order fried squids, fried or grilled fish (ikan bawal), fried chicken (different kinds to the ones you can purchased at KFC and such) and also grilled chicken, all sorts of stir-fried especially for vegetables, spaghetti, steaks, and lots more. My suggestion falls on the house special menus, which is Pecel Ayam Goreng Madu; resembling the name of the restaurant, this menu certainly represents the great name, which literally means Honeyed Fried Chicken. Served along with steamed rice, pecel (the hot sauce), fried tofu, fried tempeh (soya cake), and obviously the chicken, for only Rp. 10.000 (less than 2 USD); you will definitely leave the place feeling full and satisfied. Their squid’s menus are also great and I think amongst the local dishes, the squids are the most expensive ones; and for the steaks and the spaghetti, they are served on the hot-stone plates, and if I remember it well, the most expensive steak would be the grilled NZ tenderloin steak which was around Rp. 65.000 or Rp. 68.000
