The specialties of the island include: savori; gharthoubes and boiled oysters. At the traditional taverna:Reghantos, you'll enjoy, besides good food and local wine, serenading as well. Also at; Romantika(old city); Athriatika; Light House/Pharos (in the eastern shore); Karampoulia's (east waterfront); at central square you 'll find Loghothetis; Karfakis and the ouzeri: Frini; there are also good tavernas at the little port of Lyghia, at Karyotes and Aghios Nikitas. At Nythri (on the waterfront) there is Nick the Greek, one of Jackie's (Onassis) favorite seafood places. You may enjoy a drink at: the various small bars arrayed at the harbor promising you unforgettable nights: ll posto; Diavlos; Alegro. Discoteque; Barbarossa and Lingo are the places where visiting and local youth congregate.
