A Taste of the Big Apple is a pizza place right downtown Owatonna which is similar to Nick’s Pizza Palace in that it is known for its thin crust pizza. A Taste of the Big Apple is reasonably cheap, located right on Broadway and extremely close to their main competitor (Nick’s Pizza Palace). This isn’t the pizza place I would send anyone from out of town to try, however, if you want a cheap pizza delivered for lunch at your hotel or something, this might be a good option. Their options are limited, the pizza is extremely greasy, and they are really just for lunch in my opinion. Then again, I shouldn’t say too much negative about them without at least mentioning that I am not too fond of thin crust pizza, so it might be a whole different ball game for you!
