Rom: Drug addicts and pickpockets

If you are planning on taking a trip to Rome, Italy you are most likely going to have an awesome time. There are some safety precautions to keep in mind though. One thing that I noticed is that by the main train station things get a little shady real quick. What I mean by this is that a nice friendly looking street can quickly turn into a very unpredictable area within a couple of short blocks. I am not trying to scare you when I write this but only trying to ensure that you have a wonderful trip with no problems. There are a lot of drugs that move around Termini main station and also a lot of pickpockets who are almost as skilled as some magicians so it is very important to put your wallet in your front pocket when you are in Rome and also to keep a close eye on your valuables.
