Rumsiskes : Rumsiskes park

For those who happened to be around Kaunas and likes to combine outdoor activities and historical sightseeing I would recommend to visit Rumsiskes. This is an open air ethnographic museum on a huge territory. We parked our car at the entrance and bought pedestrian tickets for 6 litas per adult. Though there is also an option to drive through the park by car for 10 litas. It is a really beautiful place with recreated scenery of the typical Lithuanian village. Between the houses there are real fields with real cows, sheep and horses. I loved the trip!
You can get there from Kaunas bus stop taking rout 26 or by Kaunas sea with a ferry on weekends only.
