Kapstadt: Stones pool bar, Observatory

Stones actually has branches all over South Africa but the Observatory bar has been the best I've been to. It is right on the main street of Obz, lower main road and open till quite late, 2pm or sometimes later. There's about twenty coin operated pool tables, some kicker tables and big balcony whereto hang out. On many of the evenings the place is packed, especially weekends and Tuesdays are really popular. It is mainly student crowd and plus other young locals. They have many drink specials and play rock/alternative/indie music mostly. During my time in Cape Town me and my flatmates spent many many evening here and it was always a good place to meet new people by a pool challenge.
