Eaton Hotel: Great location, average quality

Similar to many other Hong Kong hotels, the rooms were quite small and had everything you would expect from a hotel of this standard, but nothing extra. The service was not fantastic, either. After asking three times for champagne glasses to be brought to our room, we proceeded to drink our Moet et Chandon from coffee mugs. There was a swimming pool on the roof top, but the day I allocated to relaxing by the pool was freezing, so I only lasted about 15 minutes.

The best thing about the hotel was its location. There were night markets one block away and an amazing restaurant across the road (unfortunately, I cannot remember the name). We walked to most shopping areas, markets and the ferry terminal.

Overall, the hotel was good value for money and I would stay there again, unless I happen to have a lavish budget for deluxe accommodation.
