Budapest: Our Place Hostel

This hostel is located right in the center of Hungary. From the Eastern Railway Station it is just a short walk away.

The staff here was very friendly. They helped me decide which attractions I should go see as well as gave me some directions to some cheap places to eat right down the street from the Hostel. Sleeping in a 10 bed mixed dorm is not a huge problem here, most of the people kept it quiet. They make a point to keep things at a low volume because the hostel is located in a residential area. Fortunately the beds were comfortable enough. The most important feature for me at this hostel was the free internet. Most places say that they offer free internet, but its usually not working or there is only one computer to use the internet on that is always occupied by someone.

Most of the attractions are accessibly from foot here so it is not necessary to get a bus pass, though if you don’t want to spend a whole lot of time, walking then it may be better just to buy some sort of day travel pass.
