While this is an excellent attraction for children, and perhaps for those who enjoy a simpler take on archaeology and history, I found this infuriatingly simplistic. It's a verrry slow fairground ride, with costumed attendants who look slightly embarrassed when addressing adults, complete with only competent waxworks. Couple this with a voice recording which, even if you select the adult version rather than the kiddie choice, is patronising beyond belief, and it's £8 badly spent. Take your children there by all means - it's terrific at that level - but if you've got any serious interest in history and archaeology, don't even bother.
