A historical place
If you enter the “Café Wha” at Mac Dougal Street, you have to be aware of its historical background. This is the place where Bob Dylan played regularly when he came to New York in the sixties. Nowadays it is a cool bar where I really loved to go. They have an excellent band which is playing every type of music. You can get in for free but if you want to sit down you are obliged to order a drink. The audience is quite diverse because of their variety of music. There is also a little dance floor which is always packed but somehow there is enough space for everybody. [mehr] |
