A three hour parade of 10,000 Harleys rolled through the streets of Milwaukee on Sunday
that ended the week-long celebration. And that doesn’t include the 250,000 other people
who attended the event. People came from (not including across the States) New Zealand,
France, Israel,...

Back in1903, William Harley and his friends Arthur, Walter Davidson, and William Davidson,
began to experiment with internal combustion engines in a wooden shed in the city of
Milwaukee. Later that year, they produced three motorcycles in that shed with the name
"Harley-Davidson...

Joey Buona’s offers great classic Sicilian dishes. Everything is served family style,
which means extremely large portions. On that note, it’s a great place to bring a large
group. Very family friendly. One of my favorite things to order is a salad (the
Panzanella and Tuscan...

This outlet mall is located between Madison and Milwaukee. A perfect place to stop if
you’ve got a lazy day to relax and you’re heading between the two cities. It holds
more than 60 stores, which seems to be a lot for the small town it’s held in. There are
fantastic items at great...

Prime Outlets in Pleasant Prairie is an outdoor shopping center located between Milwaukee
and Chicago, so it’s a great opportunity to stop if you’re traveling between the two
cities. The facility also offers a great selection of stores who give customers great
discounted prices on...

Sprecher prides itself not only on the beer they brew, but for bringing old-world brew
techniques to Brew City. This means that all of their production holds fast to the
Bavarian Purity Law, making sure everything made is of a high quality of ingredients.
You can find Sprecher in...

Unfortunately, I have never had the opportunity to visit this brewery, but I heard some
interesting things about it. First off, the brewers live directly above the brewery. The
beer itself is actually contract brewed by Stone Cellar in Appleton, and sell only to a
few bars/pubs...

First off, let me say that Rock Bottom Brewery has a banging patio. And this isn’t even
why it’s a notable stop in Milwaukee. The brews they offer here are certainly above
average. You’ll find the beer selection traditional (Stout, Pale Ale, Amber, etc) with
a few seasonal...

Many people waited in anticipation for Jacob Leinenkugel to open their downtown location
to the public. Why you may ask? Besides the wide variety of beer they offer producing
Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss, Leinenkugel's Original, Leinenkugel's Red, and Leinenkugel's
Hefeweizen, people...

The in house micro brews are pretty darn tasty. They have a great smooth consistency and
are full of flavor. Honey Lager Light, Water Street Amber, Old World Oktoberfest,
Raspberry Weiss are all brewed here, just to name a few. I have never been disappointed
by any of them....

You’ll find these beers sold at any bar across the city…from their Cattail Ale,
Eastside Dark, IPA Indian Pale Ale, Riverwest Stein, and more, which doesn’t even
include their seasonal selection. And for you non-drinkers…they have an amazing
“white” root beer that you simply need to...

Located in Riverwest (a very interesting part of the city in itself), the
brewery/restaurant is large with a decent sized stage for live music on the weekends and
pool tables. Both are great entertainment. Unfortunately, I find the beer to be subpar.
They aren’t terrible, but can be...

This brewery/pub has a very authentic feel to it. The exposed brick walls actually create
a very cozy mood, which helps form a more intimate setting in the large interior. It
also has a fantastic outdoor patio that is located on the Milwaukee River…a perfect
ambiance for sipping on...

Two of Milwaukee’s nicknames are “Brew City” and “Beer Capitol of the World.”
After all, this city has been home to some of America's largest brewers including Pabst,
Schlitz, Miller, and Blatz. And that doesn’t even cover the number of Microbreweries
here, where you will find...

I love Brady Street Pharmacy. There really isn’t anything that amazing or special about
it…it’s a small diner, with a pharmacy and theater combined in one, so the atmosphere
is unique with movie posters filling the walls with décor. Your side of hash brown
with breakfast is a...

Somehow Ma Fischer’s has become a legend in Milwaukee. I’m not sure how it happened,
as I find their food average, their staff…present but on another planet, and the
atmosphere weak. I don’t mind heading there for an after-bar snack (open 24 hours) as
it is a drunk hang-out, or...

The walls are filled with celebrity pictures…and not just any picture, but the mug shots
of celebrities…in their “prime” and true form. It’s one of my favorite things
about this bar. Other than that…the drinks are cheap ($1 PBRs). They really have one
of the best Happy Hour...

5:25 01.07.2008

The interior is a little shabby…maybe more along the lines of a “rustic” look.
Regardless, this is a hippie bar with a great assortment of drinks and a beautiful shuffle
board for entertainment in the back. It’s certainly not the cleanest bar, and you’ll
see a lot of dreads, but...

Lunch, brunch, or dinner, Saz’s will have something for you. And more importantly if
you like ribs…this is the place is definitely for you. Saz’s has, by far, the best
ribs in Milwaukee…truly finger lickn’ good. The chive fries are a perfect compliment
to the ribs; they make you...

Pizza Man Restaurant and Wine Bar has, by far, some of the best pizza in the city, great
combination of thin crust and a variety of odd meats, cheeses, and vegetables (for
instance, pulled pork, sausage and cream cheese). You can also get a mouth-watering
Hawaiian that’s do die for....
